There are many ways to advertise a business. One of them is through print media. One of the most common ways of advertising through print media is to make use of existing publications. In the old ways, businesses relied on newspapers, radio stations and television channels for their advertising needs. These are media that are able to send the message across to a wide audience… at a given time.

You see, the effectiveness of television advertisements depend on the number of seconds or minutes that it has for airtime. It totally depends on the right timing, if the right people are watching at the ideal time. Radio advertisements do the same thing. Newspaper advertisements, on the other hand, rely on the size and placement of the ad to determine its effectiveness. It also depends on what day the ad was displayed on the classifieds section of the newspaper.

You can see now that there is a need for an ad that is constantly being pushed at the attention of its intended viewers. There should be an ad that can be accessed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and it should be something everyone sees. That is where outdoor advertising comes in.

Outdoor advertising deals with ads such as banners, and billboards. Recently also there has been a development of a new form of outdoor advertising such as building wraps. However, they all do the same thing: they attract the attention of people. It is different from the traditional advertisements because outdoor advertising can be seen by people all the time. Billboards and building wraps, for example, just sit there without even having someone say anything. The ads are just displayed there all the time.

What makes outdoor advertising advantageous is that they are guaranteed to catch the attention of its audience. Who can resist the charm and attraction that the billboards offer? Whether or not you’re interested in the product, you can still see the outdoor advertisement when you pass by it while you drive your kids to school or on your way to work. Most of the times, this results to a curiosity that can end up having the person buy the product and becoming a customer for the business.

Micro niche marketing will be identifying your target audience and a specific need, then creating or promoting a product/service that is exactly what they’re looking for. You then dominate this single micro-market rather than spreading out your time and earnings amongst several profitable niche markets.

The following are some advantages to micro niche marketing:

1. Heightened Credibility – Because you are specializing in a single area within a niche, your scope of expertise is more narrow – which puts you in the upper hand position with your business. You are an expert targeting a specific segment within your niche, therefor consumers will be more inclined to trusting your recommendations and resources compared to the generalized information by your niche competitors. Focusing on a specific area of expertise will also position you to build strong relationships with your clients – creating longevity and status for your business.

2. Ditch The Competition – Micro niche marketing means you are focusing all of your business energy on one specific segment within your target audience, and providing them with a single portfolio of specialized products or services. Even though your competition is marketing within the same niche, they are spreading out focus accross the entire niche rather than focusing on one area – and this makes it extremely easy for you to remove them from the equation.

3. Comparably Greater ROI – ROI is an abbreviation for return on investment. What makes micro niche marketing so awesome is that specializing in a specific area allows you to charge considerably higher fees for your products and services. The reason you can do this is because your business provides more targeted information and offers an exact solution – one which you’ve identified and researched.

Once you have reached the point of perfection within your niche, you can claim your throne and sit there without threat – and continue to charge higher fees because you are viewed as the “expert” and are known to specialize with quality information and products. Your consumers will love you and your competition will hate you.

In my NicheDemon EBook which discuss a step by step 5 day plan to get started making money from niche marketing starting from identifying your niche product to setting up a profitable website. There are no millionaire secrets here just real world tools of what worked for me to make a living online.

The technologies now considered “advanced” for many meetings, such as high-speed networking, videoconferencing, and distance learning, are as commonplace to today’s kids as dodge ball was to my generation. Oklahoma school districts use Microsoft’s Encarta Class server to deliver a Web-based math curriculum to all students. And on a personal level, my 17-year-old son is adept at using Excel to plot the results of his science project on magnetism.

Why should you care? Because if you think you don’t have to learn much about technology to keep your career afloat, consider this: My son’s older buddies will be sitting in your meeting rooms in less than five years, expecting you to know more than they do.

Instant messaging (IM) is a stark example of technology that’s moved from the adolescent world to the meetings world. Enabling users to exchange real-time messages, IM helps teens “chat” on the Internet.

A personal or corporate IM system lets you set up groups of contacts, and see whenever somebody on your list is online. You can then initiate an IM session with that person, or chat with the whole group. So the same technology that lets kids chat about American Idol lets business people and their internal and external contacts instantly communicate. Likely fueled by an influx of 20-somethings comfortable with IM technology, the corporate IM market will grow from 5.5 million users worldwide in 2000 to 280 million in 2009, according to International Data Corp.

The National Center for Education Statistics finds that 98 percent of public schools are Internet-connected, with one computer for every five students. With young people using the Net not just for information buy for interaction, that habit will surely come with them when they enter the workforce.

New survey findings from Xerox Connect show that knowledge sharing has become standard practice at work. More than half of U.S. workers rank e-mail, Intranets, and Extranets as the most effective ways for communicating, outstripping the 18 percent who say face-to-face meetings work best.

Good Advertising slogans are one of the essential advertising tools in the marketplace to make your business stand out and get noticed.

Firstly, let us study a little closer to this question as above before we dive into the details. The answer to the above is simply to be able to grab the readers or prospects attention in 3 seconds to read on.

Notice that the whole purpose is to help the prospect to be intrigued enough to read on the rest of the sales letter. If you can grasp this then we are already 50% there.

Step 1: Appeal To Only One

The most common mistake for most businesses in their attempts to write advertising headlines is to write about themselves or to many. You must remember that each prospect reads a sentence to themselves.

So, you could do better by thinking that you are communicating only to one person in your mind. Keep this steadfast in your thoughts as you begin to craft your headline. It will give a more appealing feel to it in terms of a ‘personal touch’.

Step 2: Triggering Pain Or Pleasure

There are two extreme ways to draw attention in your headline and that is by either emphasizing towards your prospects pain or pleasure. Simple copy writing will do you much good so remember this is a powerful tool.

You’re not going to manipulate them psychologically, just enough to stop them dead in their tracks. A strike to the heart or feeling will more than conquer their minds in the next choice they make.

Step 3: Copy The Masters

Not literally that but what I mean is you can observe some other popular advertising slogans that has been used over and over again. You can learn this all over the place for no cost.

Watch the headlines in your local classified ads in your newspaper of magazine center pullouts. You will be sure to find some common patterns in the words for advertising.

Getting It All Down

Once you have determined more than a few popular advertising slogans of choice then its time to test them. Now, don’t get me wrong although you can certainly depend on some master headlines sometimes its best to keep testing till you reach your sales target with just your advertising slogans.

One of the simplest ways to increase your productivity as a salesperson is to tune into your buyer’s point of view. When you are in tune with your buyer you have empathy. This means that you can identify with and understand their situation, feelings, and motives.

When you are in tune with your buyer everything you say or do seems to be right on the mark. The buyer gets the feeling that you really understand them and the road to a successful sale lights up like an airport runway. The opposite is also true. When you are not in tune with your buyer nothing you can do or say will seem to be right. When you push they pull and vice versa.

Master salespeople know the importance of empathy and tune in to their buyers as quickly as possible. Novice salespeople on the other hand, rarely make the effort. This lack of empathy between buyer and seller accounts for much of the negative experiences many consumers experience.

This kind of selling requires a genuine desire on the part of the salesperson to try and be of service. It is pretty easy to spot the salesperson with this kind of desire. These salespeople take an interest in the buyer on a more personal level. The empathetic salesperson asks more questions and better questions. They ask the type of questions that get the buyer to open up and talk about their situation.

Buyers like salespeople that reach them on a personal level. Everyone likes to be listened to and understood. When you demonstrate to your buyer that you are interested and paying attention they will open up to you and tell you what it will take to make a sale. Here are a few reminders to help you focus on your buyers;

(*)Focus your attention on your buyer. Do not allow yourself to become distracted. (*)Look for something you like in the other person. What do you think their friends like about them? (*)Get your buyer to tell you their situation, hopes and fears with well prepared questions.

Sell with empathy and increase your productivity immediately!

Now that the Internet has become such a dependable advertising medium, many companies are taking the plunge into placing online ads. If you’re thinking about trying your next ad on the net, how can you be sure that your potential customers will see your ads? Here are some very good types of Internet advertising and ideas from people just like you who have plucked up enough courage to give Internet advertising a try. They’re willing to share what they have learned with you.

1.Take special care to place your ad where your potential customers will see them. To do this you must enter the mindset of your target customer. What is he interested in? Knowing this, what kind of sites is he likely to visit? It only makes common sense to put your ads where he’ll see them. Another consideration has to do with how the website’s search engine is placed, how much traffic it has, how it is linked externally, and lastly, what other ads are placed on it? It will make a great difference to your site’s traffic if it is linked to other sites. People will be able to see your ad when browsing these other sites. Keep an eye on your competition to see if they’re using the same sites as you are.

2.Sometimes you will have to spend some money on placing ads. But if you combine your strategically placed ads with the free exchange of your link with other sites, you will fare better in your efforts. Also, use your regular newsletters to customers to feature your upcoming promotions, specials and new merchandise. Another good idea is to have some useful links on your site, and have other sites put your link on their sites. This announces your presence in your chosen field as a respectable force to be reckoned with.

3. Pay per click is a popular type of Internet advertising. This is because it’s a method that works. Make sure you use well controlled services, which will set reasonable limits on daily expenses. Ask for expert help from services that suggest the most effective keywords for your site. Other service providers will keep track of your Pay Per Click results. It pays to get a little help at first!

4. Pick a Domain name that is easy to remember, catchy, and will instantly tell prospective customers what goods or services you offer. Don’t be afraid to have a clear, obvious domain name.

5.Work on your site constantly to keep it fresh, current and interesting. You will lose prospective customers who are bored by stale information and repetitive wording. Keep it changing for the better.

6. Again, it cannot be over emphasized. To come up with the best keywords, try to think as your customer thinks. Get the specific terms that he’s likely to enter into a search engine. If you get to know your customers well, this step will fall into place.

7. Ad tracking is not optional. It’s essential. If you’re not comfortable with the technology, use a service to keep you up to date with the tracking information. You need to know the statistics of your site in order to know what works and what doesn’t.

So now you should be ready to start your marketing campaign. Remember, never miss an opportunity to explain why people should buy your products and services. How will it benefit them? Let them know that you want to help them achieve THEIR goals, by supplying them with what they need. With using these ideas and types of Internet advertising you’ll be on your way to succeeding in the vast marketplace which the internet has become.

The internet is exploding in terms of growth all over the world yet most businesses are slow to catch on. Since the inception of the Internet, most small to medium sized companies have ignored the enormous impact a well designed internet marketing strategy can have on its ultimate growth.

The sad fact is that nine out of every ten businesses are not proficient in internet marketing. What these 9 out of 10 businesses do not realize is that 50% of everything that is purchased in today’s marketplace, online and offline, is preceded by internet searches by consumers looking for products, services and ways to save money. This leaves 9 out of 10 businesses completely invisible to today’s savvy consumer.

Promo Black Box Distributor Steve Roth at PromoBlackBoxVideo.com states… “”Most businesses that do have a website are really only online business cards, with little to no internet traffic or sales results. These companies desperately need help with their internet marketing techniques to maintain and increase their bottom line profits!”" With Promo Black Box, businesses can now take advantage of training and technology that could turn their website into a 24-7 money making machine.”"

The technology training offered with a Promo Black Box subscription is delivered by Internet experts and executives with over one hundred combined years of experience and success. Executive sales, marketing and advertising training is delivered two times per week. The rave reviews about the training webinars have been enormous and many people are saying they have made or saved thousands of dollars from each and every training session.

All the training and service modules included in the initial package revolve around four specific internet marketing functions:

1) web site traffic generation; 2) web site conversion; 3) constant automated contact with leads and clients; 4) Free online publicity.

Any company, no matter the size, can begin to apply the same techniques that major corporations use (and spend millions of dollars for), to position themselves at the top of their industry. PBB gives even the little guy a fighting chance to compete with large corporate sites!

ALL Businesses are encouraged to attend this FREE Online Class:

A FREE online introductory training class of Promo Black Box is available for Business Owners and Internet Marketers. Everyone knows that advertising is essential to growing a business. One problem that small business owners have always faced is the high cost of marketing. Most, however don’t realize that there is an effective way to reduce the cost of your advertising while – at the same time – increasing its reach.

Advertising co-ops are nothing new. Usually they are a “”perk”" offered by major manufacturers to encourage retailers to promote their products. Because the retailer has direct access to customers that would want to buy certain products, it only makes sense that they should do joint advertising. You’ve seen it – McDonalds mentioning Coke in their commercials, Dell stating that you get a free Epson printer with purchase and so on.

The retailer doesn’t make the product the manufacturer is providing, but it IS a great match with what they DO offer. Nobody would want to eat a Big Mac without something to drink, and a computer wouldn’t do a lot of good without a printer.

Now you can use this same strategy to create your own advertising co-op to increase the reach of your ads and drastically reduce the cost, too.

— How It Works

Generally speaking, the cost of any advertisements (bulk emailings, ezine ads, banners, newspaper, etc.) would be split equally between all participants. If you and two associates decide to purchase a solo ad, you would each receive equal mentions in the ad and you would each pay equal portions of the cost.

So if the solo ad were going to a list of 200,000 and cost $150, each of the three would pay $50. You get to reach 200,000 people for 1/3 the cost you would have normally paid. And, because this ad relates you to other types of businesses, you actually expand your advertising reach.

— Getting Started

So who would be qualified to enter into an ad co-op with you? It depends on the nature of your business. Think of others that reach your same target customer and make a list. If you design Web sites, you might approach hosting companies, graphic artists, copywriters or programmers. If your business is landscaping, you could invite yard maintenance companies to join you.

Once you have a list of one or more business types, think of current associates you know who belong to those groups. Also, ask others if they know of any reliable businesses that fall into the categories you’ve outlined.

— Making the Approach

When you have a list of businesses to approach, simply write or email them with your offer. Be sure to point out the benefits such as:

* a win-win situation * reduced cost of advertising * expanded reach of advertising * larger, more prominent ads for a fraction of the cost

Also, be sure to ask about the advertising outlets these businesses currently use. You will likely find new avenues that lead to greater exposure.

— Finalizing the Deal

You’ll need to work out payment arrangements with your partners prior to placing the ad(s). The best way I have found to handle the finances is for each party to pay me for their portion of the cost with a credit card. I then place the ad order with MY credit card. This way, you are assured of receiving the dollar amount due to you; and your partners have the assurance that – should you default on your end of the deal – they have recourse for getting their money back.

Working in cooperation with other businesses can lead to tremendous successes with advertising. When like-minded companies pool their resources to reach one target audience, the impact is doubled while the cost is reduced by at least half. That’s the best advertising bargain around today!

I was amazed to see all the different marketing companies on the Internet offering marketing solutions for people who have web sites on the Internet. Some were offering advice, while others offered information, and yet still others were offering e-books for a fee.

These companies who offer marketing solutions for those with web sites can be effective and as far as the research I have done, can boost the generation of traffic to your website as well as help you with the marketing solutions you don’t really understand.

On one website I found about marketing solutions it was actually a training course that those who were interested in learning more about marketing solutions could take to better their knowledge about the marketing solutions concept.

Still, on another marketing solutions website I found how they use clients and show them about the marketing solutions and the values that go with it, then have them in turn show those with web sites the growing improvements of website building by using marketing solutions.

I found this concept very interesting. In order to have a productive and successful web site there is no way around not knowing about marketing solutions and what it has to offer. By familiarizing yourself with marketing solutions, in a sense you are getting a hand up in the advertising of your web site and the products or information you actually have on your web site.

With web site marketing solutions, and the companies that provide you with this knowledge they are getting on a personal basis with you to strive and build your web site into a profitable and growing business.

Marketing solution websites are all over the Internet. And after doing research on several of them I realized they are all mostly out for one thing. The idea of helping you to have the best web site possible for the products or information your are trying to get across to those who visit your web site.

It doesn’t matter if your web site is small or large, or if it has been on the Internet for some time, or rather simply just starting out either. Marketing solutions target the areas of your web site that need the most attention and assist you and showing you what it is you need to do for your web site to prosper.

Marketing solutions is a means of turning your web site completely around, if it is not as lucrative as you would like it to be, yet on the other hand; marketing solutions can offer assistance even if your web site is doing a fairly decent job on the Internet in the terms of organization and ways of keeping it that way.

Although there are many different marketing solution websites on the Internet and available to you, do a little homework and decide which one works for your web site, then see what they have to say. If you need to get a second opinion, however most of the time the marketing solutions are there to help you and your web site, by looking at the long term investment of your web site.
